Did you know?
We have a unique business model that we hope you can get behind and feel good about supporting. We print signs, banners, apparel, postcards, flyers, mailers, promotional products such as pens, bags, cups, etc., and so many other items perfect for an organization, club, business, or political campaign.
1. AAGS actively employs individuals who have learning differences. Our partnership with the Colorado Neurodiverse Chamber of Commerce supports our training and development focus as we work to be the best employer for our employees. Moving forward, we hope to hire additional team members from the neurodiverse community because we know this subset of the population have higher unemployment rates than other groups and they can be highly effective and dependable.
2. AAGS is a union printshop, one of the few in the state. Our employees will have a pension to support them in retirement. For this, we are extremely proud. In 2022, we reached out to the local union to engage in dialogue about becoming a union shop. The initial catalyst was connected to us being approached by candidates about print projects that would include the union bug. As we looked further into the opportunity we realized that it would be something beneficial to our employees, so we pursued it more. We knew that this endeavor would increase our expenses as a small business but wanted to offer our employees this opportunity.
3. AAGS is a women and minority-owned business.
4. AAGS supports our community through providing internships to students interested in the graphic design and apparel industry. We have hosted Denver Metro area high school students, Pickens Tech students, and Goodwill Industries interns. Most of our hiring has come from our internship opportunities.
